We maintain a breeding herd of about 30 llamas. Animals shorn for fiber harvest spend no less
than 8 hours being groomed the day before the actual shearing. I have found that all this time
and energy spent before shearing greatly reduces the time in post shearing processing. Because I have
more fiber than I can use personally, I am able to offer "CLEAN" ready to spin fiber to other interested parties.
Our herd consistently produces 3 majornatural colors: White, Medium Brown or Caramel and Dark Brown.

Spealadair runs a herd of Registered White Angora Goats. We have
combined both full blooded South African genetics with some of the
finest haired Texas and North Carolina bloodlines. We maintain the herd
to 30-40 breeding does, kids are raised to 12-18 months before
undergoing a strict selection process to qualify for marketable breeding
stock, only the finest make the cut. All grades of mohair are available
